About this space

Where should we start… With the deer in front of the Blue House? With the Rose Garden? With the Pergola after which ¨A Lugas¨ has been named? Or the breath- taking view of the Balaton Lake? We are offering two beautiful buildings, with 5bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 4 kitchen and two private terraces in a 6,000 m2 rural garden with fruit and nut trees, rose and grape pergolas with amazing view of the Balaton, 15 minutes on foot from the lake on top of a mountain.

The space

Each room has access to panoramic terraces for spending every meal and pastime overviewing the lake and the beautiful landscape. Having one room with a queen-sized bed and the other with 2 individual beds the Blue House – the main house- is the perfect base for a couple with kids or a group of friends. The living room/kitchen also has a sofa bed and bathroom with entrance from the garden. Furthermore, you will have full use of three vacation Apartments – each with individual bathrooms and a shared kitchen and an outdoor dining area all opening out to the most magnificent view of the lake. One room has a double bed a, one has a bunk bed and a sofa bed and the third room has a king size bed and a bunk bed and a tea kitchen.The place is ideal for 3 families or a group of friends. We are happy to host your pets also but only with prior consultation.

In the Blue House we are offering 2 adjacent rooms with a bathroom and open kitchen and lakeview 2 terrace for your exclusive use and 3 apartments with kitchen and in a separate building. Please note that al part of the land is private area.

Other things to note

Hacienda A Lugas lies only 15 minutes from the lake and at the same time at the very top of the Fulop mountain, giving you a very exclusive, yet highly connected base for your Balaton vacation. Here you will find your place to enjoy the company of your travel mates and plenty of space to spoil yourself with some blissful time in your own thoughts. Upon arrival you will be helped to your keys, wifi password and other practicalities and we would be happy to help you with tips about the best beaches, shops, trekking routes and restaurants or the schedule of the deer in case you want to see them from our gate. Kindly note that in Hungary it is mandatory to register with the Hungarian Tourism Authority- through the Vendegem apo . You can do it prior to your arrival or we can assist you when you arrive.
